Charlie Baker is currently the co-founder of The CC Group, a comprehensive coaching firm for business professionals eager to sustain success in life, work and retirement through a proven and unique coaching process. 

This work has been Baker’s life mission. He has over 25 years of executive coaching experience with a broad variety of retail companies, including Coach, Limited Brands (Victoria Secret), Nordstrom, REI, Target, and Walmart ; and has also helped coach executives in the energy sector, including Exon, Williams Companies, and Conoco. Baker has been instrumental in assisting leaders identify and develop their goals, teaching focus, fostering relationships, and expanding their business skills

Baker retired after 23 years at Big 4 Firm, Ernst & Young, one of the largest professional services firms in the world, where his focus was on aiding E & Y leaders in their own development, and how they can continue to develop into highly successful leaders. Baker’s contributions were acknowledged in 2010 when he was named the recipient of the Chairman’s Values Award. 

Baker’s life goal is helping others reach their greatest potential. He has a diverse and proven background in coaching individuals, teams and Partners taking on new assignments. 

Baker earned his B.S. degree in Education from Oklahoma State University and M.Div. degree from seminary. 

An Oklahoman from birth, Baker is a self-described friend, coach, mentor, husband, father, and “Pops” to eight grandchildren.

Craig Bothwell is the co-founder of The CC Group, a comprehensive coaching firm for business professionals eager to sustain success in life, work and retirement through a proven and unique coaching process. 

 

Bothwell is well-suited to lead and mentor in this role, having spent the last 50 years as a highly successful executive and entrepreneur in the hospitality industry. What began as a college job washing dishes in 1969 with Ken Selby and the Mazzio’s Corporation, Bothwell found his passion for business and played a major role the next 36 years nurturing and rapidly growing the regional Mazzio’s pizza chain and its subsidiary brands into a $100-million-dollar company, with over 200 locations and 3,000 employees, culminating in his promotion in 1986 to President and Chief Operating Officer.

In 2005, Bothwell’s entrepreneurial spirit reignited, and he left Mazzio’s to become a franchisee for McAlister’s Deli. Operating as Bothwell-Saxton Restaurants, Bothwell expanded McAlister’s Deli from one to twenty restaurants in the Midwest, with sales of $32M, before selling the company in 2012 Recognized as one of McAlister’s top franchisees and a leader in the restaurant industry, Bothwell served as President of the McAlister’s Corporate Franchise Advisory Council, was awarded McAlister’s Deli Franchisee of the Year multiple years, as well as McAlister’s Deli Developer of the Year. He is also past president of the Oklahoma Restaurant Association (ORA) and continues to serve as an Associate Board Member. 

 

Of course, Bothwell’s leadership credentials reach far beyond business, having taken an active role in the Tulsa community for decades. He has engaged in multiple leadership roles in several Tulsa Area United Way campaigns. He is a former member of the Young Presidents Organizations. He has also served on the Palmer Drug Abuse Board and been involved as a Junior Achievement instructor. And in education, he has served on the Oklahoma Baptist University Board of Trustees. Bothwell also serves on the Grand Bank Board of Directors and is a past President of Southern Hills Country Club. 

 

A native of Springfield, Missouri, Bothwell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Tulsa.
